As a result of rising heating costs we were contacted to carry out a survey of this home. Following the survey, we determined that external wall insulation or dry ling were the only options available as the external wall was constructed of a hollow cavity block. The client selected External Wall Insulation as they did not want to alter the inside of their home. We installed 100mm thick insulation to the outside of the house and applied a coloured acrylic render on top of the insulation.
