The Client was carrying out a full renovation to this house when they contacted us to insulated the outside of their home. Their Architect recommended external wall insulation to our Client as the thermal performance and the appearance of the house needed to be improved. A slate grey acrylic render was used which is very easy to maintain. We also formed 100mm, wide bands, on the 4 corners of the house.
All homes do not have a cavity between the external walls so the external walls can only be drylined internally of insulated externally with external wall insulation. Houses that have solid concrete, brick, solid masonry block, hollow-core block and stone houses are suitable for External Wall Insulation.
